How to Brew Golden Oolong
Leaf: 10g per 500ml
Water: 85°C
Steeping time: 2–3 minutes
Vessel: Glass, porcelain or clay
1. Rinse the leaves
Cover the rolled leaves with hot water for approximately 5 seconds, then discard the water.
This helps open the rolled leaves before the main infusion.
2. Brew for 2–3 minutes
Use 10g of tea per 500ml of water at approximately 85°C.
Start at around 2 minutes and adjust according to taste. Three minutes is the upper limit recommended for this brewing method.
3. Enjoy
Golden Oolong can be enjoyed on its own or alongside food.
