Black Dragon Oolong is a certified organic whole leaf oolong tea, repeatedly roasted over several passes to develop a deeper and warmer character.
Unlike a single hard roast, which can create a sharper roast character on the surface of the leaf, repeated lighter roasting passes allow the roast to develop gradually. The result is a fuller-bodied oolong with a deeper, warmer roasted character.
It is the darker counterpart to Golden Oolong — making the two teas an interesting way to experience how roasting can influence the character of the same type of tea.

How to Brew Black Dragon Oolong
Leaf: 5g per 200ml
Water: 90°C
Steeping time: 30 seconds
Vessel: Clay, porcelain or glass
1. Rinse the leaves first.
Use hot water for approximately 5 seconds, then discard the water. This is recommended for the tightly rolled roasted leaves.
2. Brew for 30 seconds.
Use 5g of tea per 200ml of water at approximately 90°C.
The short, concentrated steep produces a fuller cup while allowing the same leaves to be brewed again.
3. Re-steep the same leaves.
Add approximately 10–15 seconds to each subsequent infusion.
The tightly rolled whole leaves gradually open, allowing the flavour and character to evolve across multiple infusions.
